Mattress removal is priced by the number and size of items, how much truck space they use, and access to the room. A single mattress from a main floor bedroom is a small job. A full home with several beds, frames, and box springs is larger. Either way, you get an upfront quote before work begins. Adding mattresses to a larger furniture or cleanout job is often the most cost-effective approach.

Timing

If your new mattress is arriving on a set date, let us know. We offer same-day and next-day pickup when we can, but scheduling is subject to availability. Booking a few days ahead gives you the best chance of matching your delivery date.

Mattress recycling and donation

Mattresses contain steel springs, foam, wood, and fabric that can often be separated and recycled. Where local mattress recycling is available, we take mattresses there instead of the landfill. Donation is more limited because many organizations do not accept used mattresses for health and safety reasons. A like-new mattress may occasionally be accepted, but we will never promise that ahead of time. Mattresses with stains, damage, or signs of pests cannot be donated and are disposed of properly.

Before we arrive

Strip sheets and bedding, and clear a path from the bed to the front door. If a mattress is in a storage unit, a detached garage, or another location, include that in your request. Let us know if there are concerns about bed bugs or other pests so we can plan accordingly.
